Alim Course

Scholarship for the Modern World

What Is the Alim Course?

The Alim Course is an in-depth, multi-year program of Islamic scholarship that equips students with a strong foundation in the core Islamic sciences. It follows a structured curriculum traditionally taught in Islamic seminaries and prepares students to understand, practice, and convey Islamic knowledge with confidence and responsibility.

Our Alim Course is part-time, catering to our students’ work and school schedules. Each year is broken down into two semesters, each semester being four months. Students study under qualified scholars and develop the tools necessary to engage with original Islamic texts and understand the rich scholarly heritage of Islam.

As they learn, students grow in their love for Allah and their appreciation for Islam and our beloved Prophet ﷺ. As the course progresses, students are introduced to the various sacred sciences of Fiqh, the principles of Fiqh, Hadith, the principles of Hadith, Seerah, Aqeedah, Arabic grammar, Arabic literature, and more.

“When Allah wishes good for someone, He bestows upon him the understanding of Deen.”
